Rafting on the Ayung, Waterbom park, a safari and marine park day, and a beach resort base the children will not want to leave.

Bali built for children. The pace is slower than our honeymoon itinerary, the hotels have proper kids' pools, and every day has something active in it.

White-water rafting on the Ayung is graded II–III and safe for children over seven. Waterbom in Kuta is consistently ranked among Asia's best water parks. The Bali Safari and Marine Park runs a night safari and elephant encounters.

Extra beds and connecting rooms are included in the price for children under twelve.

Arrive at Denpasar and settle in

Airport pick-up and transfer to your beach resort in Nusa Dua. Check in, then the rest of the day at the pool and the beach to shake off the flight.

Water sports at Tanjung Benoa

A morning of water sports at Tanjung Benoa — banana boat, jet ski, a glass-bottom boat to Turtle Island and parasailing for anyone tall enough. Afternoon free at the resort.

Ubud, the monkey forest and Ayung rafting

North to Ubud for the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and the art market, then white-water rafting on the Ayung river — about two hours through the gorge, with waterfalls and carved rock walls on the way. Lunch at the rafting camp.

Bali Safari and Marine Park

A full day at the safari park — a tram through African, Indian and Indonesian animal zones, the Bali Agung theatrical show, elephant and water park areas, and the Fresh Water Aquarium.

Waterbom Bali and Kuta beach

The whole day at Waterbom in Kuta, with slides for every age and shaded lounging for parents. Evening at Kuta beach for sunset and dinner at Beachwalk.
